Extra cover for medical conditions

Travel by Us offers specific cover for medical conditions not automatically covered by most travel insurers.

Our ability to offer additional cover will depend on a few factors related to your individual condition and situation, so to check, you’ll need to complete a short medical screening during your online quote.

Simply answer a few questions about your condition at Step 2 of your quote.

You will be asked to confirm that you or any other listed traveller has a pre-existing medical condition that is not automatically covered. (See the list of what we automatically cover here).

If you answer yes, you will be asked a series of questions which will help us determine if we can add special cover to your policy.

Once the assessment is complete, you will know whether your condition can be covered or not, and what the applicable additional charge will be. If you’re happy to proceed, you can finish buying your policy at Step 3 of your quote.
